Job Description : Peak Dental Services is now hiring a full-time, experienced IT Director to support all of our offices located throughout Colorado and Texas. This is a remote position but candidate must live in Colorado. Join our team reporting directly to the CFO to help a growing network of affiliated dental ventures for an innovative and fast-growing company. You will be mentored by an experienced CFO with a track record of growing VC/PE-backed companies, including taking companies through a successful IPO. We desire someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is an experienced IT leader ready to oversee the IT infrastructure and operations of a fast-growing healthcare company. We are looking for a hands-on professional who can not only support our current and growing network of dental offices. The successful candidate will be a change management expert and knowledgeable about the technical infrastructure of information systems. The IT Director will be responsible for our entire systems administration and reports directly to the CFO, with frequent exposure to our entire management team.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Lead the technical IT review for potential acquisitions and oversee the integration into our IT operations and accounting infrastructure
· Manage our outsourced IT vendors
· Plan and organize IT function and have responsibility for managing the IT company budget
· Develop our overall IT roadmap for the next 18-24 mos
· Ensure we have scalable IT solutions that comply with compliance and security standards, including HIPAA and support our rapid growth
· Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety
· Work with our third-party offshore firm that supports our accounting and revenue cycle management function to ensure they have proper connectivity and IT support
· Oversee the technical aspects of our Data Warehouse, including connectivity, stability, and overall operation
· Oversee the VOIP phone architecture, including understanding call routing and setup with 3rd party provider, 8×8
· Communicate clearly with administrative, accounting, and clinical staff as well as patients and vendors
Skills and Qualifications:
· Remote position but Colorado residents preferred to offer onsite support to offices
· Bachelor’s degree in programming, computer science, or related field
· Proven experience as IT Director or similar role
· 2+ years experience working with an EHR/EMR System (Denticon preferred)
· Develop overall IT growth strategy and oversee its day-to-day implementation
· Proven project management skills
· Expertise in providing IT solutions in a clinical environment
· Expertise in providing systems security audit and compliance
· Expertise in assessing and streamlining systems across multiple functions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Expertise with Data Warehouse structure and connectivity
· Ability to travel within Denver and Texas (on occasion) to be onsite at our office locations to assist with IT issues
· Flexibility with working hours to accommodate working with our offshore accounting and revenue cycle management team as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
