Job Description : **Please only apply if you reside in the Greater Toronto Area with no plans to relocate outside the GTA. We maintain a close-knit team through starting each morning with a virtual huddle, and periodic after hours virtual and in person social events.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: · Troubleshoot and support Windows based networks running MS Office (all versions), backup systems, antivirus, VPN, file and print services, etc.· Setting up and administering user accounts and system assets· Setup and support of Office 365· Loading software images on desktops / laptops including the configuration of MS Windows, MS Office, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.· Installation of new hardware or exchange defective components on servers and desktops· Mobile devices support· Occasionally take inbound calls from clients, create tickets, complete initial discovery questions and scheduling of next steps· Maintain service ticket database· Be on after hours on call rotation for 2 weeks every 8 weeks. First week you will be the primary on call technician and the second week you will be secondary. Average on call volume is 2 – 3 calls per week.DESIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS: · Computer science degree or network administration diploma and at least 5 years of solid IT support experience· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating system architecture· Strong documentation and discovery skills· Exchange and Office 365 solutions· Windows certifications· Experience using LabTech / Automate and/or ConnectWise / Manage is a big plus· Experience supporting MACs a plus.
