We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
This is an in-office position, located in the Gunbarrel area of Boulder, CO close to Longmont, Erie, Louisville, Broomfield and Thornton.
Responsibilities

Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
Assist in end of month close procedures
Bank Reconciliations
Sales/Use Tax Filings- Monthly and Quarterly
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly payables through ACH
Assist with other accounting projects

Requirements

Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

· Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
· Great with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
· Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Assist with various finance projects
BA/BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related business degree or degree in progress

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
