Position : Junior Mortgage Banking Officer/Home Equity Processor
Job Description : We are looking for a detailed and friendly individual to join our team in the role of Junior Mortgage Banking Officer/Home Equity Processor within our growing Billings Mortgage Department. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with mortgage customers, as well as providing administrative support to loan officers. Will solicit and originate quality loans, deposits, and special products and services with customers. Additional responsibilities and duties include:
Make customer contacts, field inspections, and business visits, as necessary.
Learn to analyze asset and repayment quality on existing loans and loan applications.
Will recommend banking products and services, based on customer analysis.
Responsible for assisting in the collection of delinquent mortgage loans.
Provide loan support for home equity loans and construction loans to mortgage banking officers.
Prepare all required loan documentation, computer input, tracking and follow-up necessary to complete each home equity loan file.
Responsible for preparation of second mortgage files for closing.
Maintain contact with title companies, insurance agents, and borrowers, if necessary, throughout the loan process.
Prepare loan modification and satisfactions as needed.
Input Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) information into appropriate HMDA Loan Application Register (LAR).
Learn and gain proficiency in Arta Lending & Compliance One software and participate in ongoing training.
Provide backup support for the Closing Specialists in Mortgage Loan Administration.
Meet and assist customers in routine banking needs, inquiries, and problem resolution to assure the customer receives high quality service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, or other related field is preferred, but not required.
OR
An acceptable combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.
