Job Description : Our growing law firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to assist the litigation teams in our Great Falls, Montana office. We practice state-wide and specialize in asbestos, environmental, catastrophic personal injury, and workers’ compensation law.Paralegals with 1+ years of experience in civil litigation are encouraged to apply.Litigation paralegals will assist the attorneys in all aspects of case development including the following:· Request and track medical records and bills,· Prepare medical summaries, causation letters, demand letters, petitions for mediations and hearings, and pleadings and discovery documents,· Work directly with the clients to obtain discovery responses,· Contact witnesses and experts,· Coordinate the logistics for depositions, mediations, and etc.· Track medical bill payments and liens,· Draft mediation brochures,· File pleadings in state and federal court, and· Assist with trial preparation.We offer a competitive compensation package to new hires – and when excellence has been demonstrated, that package becomes generous.
