The Load Planner is responsible for producing Dicom’s transportation routes with the added purpose of identifying significant cost savings opportunities and overall improvements. This role is responsible for delivering routing and route structure to upwards of 400 deliveries per night.
Job Responsibilities:
Create cost-effective and optimized solutions by analyzing existing routes, and planning accordingly
Communicate routing changes to drivers and managers on an ongoing basis.
Reconciling Return Freight
Routing all deliveries to ensure a 90% average of on time service
Nightly Stop count Reporting
Routing on average 400 deliveries a night
Shift: Sunday – Thursday
12:00am to 8:00am
Full-Time
Salary: To be discussed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Complete knowledge of GTA & surrounding geography
Proficiency with MS Office suite (including Word, Excel)
Good time management
Excellent verbal and written communication
Team player
Routing experience an asset
