We really look forward to working with anyone that is driven, coachable and ready to join our team!As our business continues to grow, we’re in search of energetic, passionate people who want to join our elite team of mortgage professionals.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limitsInterview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loansDetermine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plansCommunicate with clients either to request or to provide informationJustify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on themUpdate job knowledge on types of loans and other financial servicesMaintain and update account recordsAssess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loansGo the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting processΟperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelinesSkillsProven working experience as a loan officer is requiredFamiliarity with computers and banking applications/softwareSolid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer satisfaction orientation and sales competenciesAbility to work in a goal oriented environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $300,000.00 per yearPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:10 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Commission payAbility to commute/relocate:Bingham Farms, MI 48025: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Fair Housing regulations: 1 year (Preferred)Loan origination: 1 year (Preferred)Sales: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
