Job Description : Logistics Coordinator West Shefford Food Co. Inc. is a leading International Food Import/Export company located in Uptown Toronto. We are seeking a candidate to join our dynamic International Trading Department in the role of Logistics coordinator and assisting accounting department for month end. Ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and is driven to succeed. Salary range is from$45,000 to $55,000 annually.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with clients, vendors and third parties on ocean shipment requirements and ensuring shipments are handled on a timely basisResearch, negotiate and procure transportation tenders and quotationsPrepare receiving and shipping documents and export container load planMaintain quality results by following export standards, procedures, and regulationsPrepare all necessary documentation required for freight movementMonitor shipment movements, strong follow up requiredActive involvement with problem-solving of issuesSales aptitude and a professional phone manner requiredQualifications:University degree or College diplomaOther languages fluency a definite assetInterested in international business or commodity trading industryProficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and other computerized systemsTeam player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and meet demanding deadlinesWe thank all applicants; however we will only contact the potential candidates that we retain for our interview process.COVID-19 precaution(s):Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Dental careVision careSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsCOVID-19 considerations:
