Join our FREE LTC Healthcare Assistant Program!* 5 weeks of part-time training (20 hours/week)* Topics include: Communication strategies in LTC, housekeeping skills, dining room service techniques, infection prevention and control and PPE* Earn your food safety certification* Supports and access to employment from local Long Term Care and Retirement residences.* Participants require proof of clear VSS check, 2 step TB test and Covid vaccinations before employmentCOVID-19 considerations:All training will be completed online and employment opportunities will be in person at a local Long Term Care facility.Hours: 20 – 40 per weekWork RemotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.00-$22.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
