ROLE PROFILE:
Position: Manager, Scheduling & Operations
Reports to: VP, Operations, Resident & Team Member Success
Location: Ontario – Remote
Scope: As a leading employer that operates residences and supports our mission “to help residents live fully, every day” is now looking for a strong Manager, Scheduling & Operations that will strengthen Sienna’s quality, productivity, efficiency, and client services related to scheduling, hiring, staffing deployments and HRIS operations.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will initially play a key role in the Scheduling and Callout Project, focused in implementing a new time and attendance, and scheduling platform (ComVida).
Support with the development of scheduling best practices to enable a smooth transition to new scheduling platform.
Support with the training and adoption of new processes and technology.
Oversee and lead all components of scheduling, payroll submissions, call-out, time-clocks, recruiting, onboarding, process hire and Core functions within the designated systems based on a regional assignment
Provide daily support to the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team with day to day activities and coverage and act as a back up to the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team including being familiar with all regional scheduling, collective agreement and hiring protocol
Provide weekly on-line training sessions to new team members on how to put in availability, time – off request, view schedule, view pay statements, PTO plans, call out process, systems navigation, surge online learning and any areas related to self-self within 1 week of hire
Support the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team on all recruiting, onboarding, process hire, core and benefits
Work in partnership with the Shared Services Team and facilitates all communication and directives including all organizational processes and protocols
Provide an environment of collaboration and service excellence to support superior customer service, scheduling and support to the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team and regional communities.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree and/or Diploma or Certificate or relevant experience
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in scheduling, time & attendance and pay administration
Ability to coach, mentor and manage a team
Exceptional problem solving, analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required
