Job Description : Job Title: Marketing InternLocation: Etobicoke, ONGeneral Accountability: In conjunction with the Vice President of Marketing for the Foodservice & Ingredients Division, the marketing intern assists in various stages of marketing & transition projects including packaging changes / regulatory alignments, market & competition analyses, e-commerce activities and new business integration for the Foodservice division and its categories.Critical Success Factors: Assist the team on the regulatory packaging transition projects, ensuring key support, follow-ups and ownership towards completing specific elements, in line with set deadlines.Analyze market trends, competitive and industry activity, and participate in making recommendations to maximize business performance.Assist brand teams with development of presentation materials for Q4 2021 launches: PowerPoint decks for sales team and customers, along with sales sheets and sampling logistics.Support the project leads for e-commerce platform campaigns & integration of newly acquired brands in the company such as Ultima’s yogurt range; while analyzing our performance vs competitors and preparing recommendations on directional plans.Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate: Strong strategic and analytical skillsProficient with standard office computer technology including Microsoft Office products, e-mail, and the internetAC Nielsen and/or research platform working knowledge would be a plusPro-active mind-setProject management skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as function as a strong team playerStrong organization skillsCreative thinking and flexibility – ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast paced environmentLactalis is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to the principles of diversity and employment equity.
