Every day, you’ll collaborate learn more about the content creation space, and watch your work make an impact (on the company and their community!).What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Marketing Intern who’s ready to kick start their career within an exciting and fast paced culture focused on learning and development. We’re looking for an intern who’s excited by the prospect of jumping into projects, initiating conversations, and finding ways to support the goals of the Marketing department. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll work closely with all members of the marketing team on projects spanning from social media, digital advertising, email marketing, and more! You will also be joining one of Canada’s fastest-growing start-up companies!Your Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the day to day requirements of Makeship agency partners (Digital Advertising, Public Relations, Email Marketing)Support the Social Media team in planning, designing, and executing social campaigns and initiatives (content creation, giveaways, collaboration with creators, etc.).Collect and report on weekly KPIs of importance to the Marketing and Social Media teams.Organization of Makeship’s internal marketing folders, files, and tools (Google Drive, Notion, Canva).Follow social trends, memes, creators, and brands of importance to Makeship and report on findings and suggestions relevant to our business.Manage the internal marketing budget and plan team building events.What You BringYou are currently enrolled in a Canadian undergraduate programA positive attitude and an excitement for learning and feedback.A self-starter who brings a willingness to get involved and initiate new projects.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organization skills.Eager to track and report on new trends and technology.Familiarity with Social Media platforms, Klaviyo, Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive), Notion, Canva an assetComfortable working in an office or remote environment.Benefits & Perks2 days paid personal time offMakeship is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
