Job Description : Position Details
W74 Marketing is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the marketing execution efforts of the marketing team. The ideal candidate is strategy-driven, a self-starter, hungry to learn, and data-driven. We are looking for a continuous learner, as digital trends are constantly changing and evolving. Organization is key, as this position requires organizing both projects and people. The Marketing Specialist will develop and execute marketing campaigns and should be competent in a variety of different digital marketing platforms ( ex. social media, email marketing, and content marketing).
This position is fully remote, but preference will be given to Colorado Springs based candidates who are able to meet with team members and clients, both in-person and via Zoom, regularly. Adaptability and flexibility are key, as well as a desire to build relationships with clients and serve them.
In addition to marketing execution, the Marketing Specialist will also manage projects, timelines, and deliverables for their assigned clients and work closely with the Marketing team, Graphic Designers, and Web Developers. Excellent communication and copywriting skills are required to be successful in this role.
This is a contracted part-time, remote position for approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for more in the future. Qualified candidates should be located in the Colorado Springs area and able to meet with clients during normal business hours.
Responsibilities and Duties
Overall Marketing

Analytically and logically diagnose client marketing opportunities and develop marketing strategies to address and optimize those opportunities.
Develop custom marketing campaigns and strategies on a per-client basis.
Optimize campaigns based on tracking data.
Analyze metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights and improvements.
Think outside-of-the-box and create unique campaigns and strategies that best fit each client.
Manage client relationships, project timelines, and deliverables.

Social Media

Manage various social media platforms for clients across several industries.
Develop and execute social strategies that use social best practices for optimal performance.
Manage and monitor social ad campaigns across different platforms.
Work closely with a Graphic Designer to create custom graphics.

Email Marketing and Lead Generation

Develop, write, and build segmented, automated email marketing campaigns.
Develop lead generation campaigns that meet the needs of clients and their goals.

Miscellaneous

Project management
Reporting
Basic website edits (experience with Elementor Pro a plus)
Copywriting for a variety of mediums (social media, email, blogs, print advertising, etc)

Requirements

At least 2 years working in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest).
Experience with WordPress, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms (like Mailchimp and Active Campaign).
Ability to work independently on a remote team (some availability during normal business hours is required).
Comfortable working with faith-based organizations.
Colorado Springs based.
