Job Description : Field – Material and Procurement Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Blackeagle Energy Services is seeking a Material and Procurement Manager to Procure, retrieve and distribute necessary materials to the field in a safe and timely manner to maintain production.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Source vendor quotations and procure materials by completing take-offs, reviewing specifications, and drawings
Maintain and complete records of materials, including receiving and distribution
Transport materials, parts, and supplies to and from different job sites
Assists in loading, unloading, and moving materials while at job sites
Receives material from vendors and common carriers
Inspect material for discrepancies, damages and correct material
Ensure proper storage of materials and goods at all times
Assists in maintaining and cleaning the designated staging area
Communicate delivery schedule and delays to project teams
Follow safety rules and procedures at all times
Other duties and projects as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Minimum 4 years experiences in Oil & Gas or Industrial construction
Knowledge of procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, maintaining, understand shipping and receiving documentation and issuing material
Experience using forklift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Technologically competent and proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, etc.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT/COMMENTS
Hourly rate of $22 – $38, depending on experience
