Position : Medical Assistant for a Plastic Surgery Practice
Job Description : As a Medical Assistant in our prestigious Plastic Surgery practice, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Pre-surgery chart prep for pre-surgical patients
Obtaining test results and medical clearances from other medical facilities to prepare patients for surgery
Chaperoning and scribing for physicians during consultations
Communicating effectively with practice PA and Nurses
Collaborate effectively with surgical schedulers and front office staff
Managing clinic exam room stock and inventory
Instrument cleaning and sterile processing of office instruments
Setting up rooms for in-office surgical procedures
Skills
Proven working experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a plastic surgery or aesthetic office
Knowledge of medical office management systems and EHRs
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Certification in Medical Assisting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
