Position : Medical Courier Driver
Job Description : Are you an Independent Contract delivery driver who is interested in contract opportunity in the Phoenix, Arizona area?
HealthEx is looking for a dependable and professional Medical Courier Driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals and medical supplies to hospitals/health systems within Phoenix Valley and surrounding areas.
Routes are available Monday through Friday with pickups between 5am and 3pm. There are routes available on Saturdays between 6am and 10am.
Please be advised that majority of our clients REQUIRE you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This may affect route assignments.
Medical Courier Requirements/Qualifications:
Valid and current driver’s license
Drivers must be able to consistently lift 100lbs
Interest in contracting work at least 5 days per week
Some weekend availability
1099 Independent Contractor delivery experience preferred but not required
Drivers must have a reliable and registered vehicle that will be used for this contract (No vans or trucks required)
Must be willing and able to drive in inclement weather (i.e. snow, ice, rain, wind)
Must be fluent in English
Medical Courier Pay & Perks:
Spill Kits and Dosing Meters provided free of charge for drivers
Home Daily (no overnight)
DOT & Function-Specific Hazmat Training provided free of charge
Toll reimbursements
Pay:
$0.97 per mile
$6 per stop
$35 route minimum
Fuel reimbursement (4.34%)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
Year round work
COVID-19 considerations:Drivers must be willing to adhere to COVID-19 Protocols and Hospital/Health System Requirements:-Personal protective equipment (face covering) required-Temperature screenings at delivery locations
