Position : Medical Receptionist
Job Description : Busy and growing OB/GYN practice is searching for friendly and outgoing individuals to join our fast paced front office team.
Qualified individuals must be efficient, dependable, and a team player with excellent customer service skills and extreme attention to detail. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a medical practice setting, preferably OB/GYN or Family Practice, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good understanding of medical terminology. Willing to train the right person. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting patients
Collecting demographic information and entering into EMR
Collect and post payments and copays
Answer phones, schedule appointments and create task messages for the back office staff
Scanning
Check patients in and out
Print and send medical records
Check insurance benefits and prior authorization for in office procedures
This is a full time position M-F 8:15-5:15 with occasional but minimal overtime. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid vacation/sick time, 401K and profit sharing.
