JOB TITLE : Member Services Coordinator I
Status: Full Time (38-40 hours), Tuesday thru Saturday, non-exempt
Wage: $12.47-$15.50/hr DOE
Reports to: Member Services Coordinator II
Probation: Subject to the Montana statutory introductory (probationary) period
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this multi-faceted position, the Membership Services Coordinator I assists the Membership Services Coordinator II in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Welcome Center, maintaining excellent customer service to all people in the YMCA. The Membership Services Coordinator I acts as a Welcome Center lead, modeling for other staff the skills to serve as a primary point of contact for all information inquiries, to maintain secure use of the facility to members and guests, to provide accurate information regarding Y membership, programs and cause, and to process transactions involving program registration and membership dues. Additionally, the Membership Services Coordinator I assists in training new Welcome Center staff and acts as an exemplary model of service and integrity at the Welcome Center. The Membership Services Coordinator I looks to engage community members in Y programs and events and increase member retention. Must thrive in an environment with multiple activities occurring at once.

. Requirements:
Preferred – 1-3 years of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service focused position
Required – High school diploma or equivalent
Required – Must complete Child Abuse Prevention training prior to starting and have or obtain CPR certification within first 60 days of employment
Required – Open, friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills
Required – Strong verbal & written communication skills
Required – Basic math and computer skills
