Job Description : Miner 3 Training Program
Location: East Boulder Mine (Greater Billings/ Livingston Area)
Schedule: 5x4x4x5
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs drilling, blasting, and mucking duties. Determines the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives.

Operates underground equipment (loaders, jackleg drill, CMAC). Can complete all tasks associated with mining and instillation of utilities. Willing and able to gather supplies for other miners.
Performs other duties, as assigned from time to time, at the discretion of the company.
QUALIFICATION/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Understanding of, and a strong commitment to, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment.
Must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for UG Miner 3 Trainee.
Must meet the Physical Requirements for the Underground Miner position.
Must be able to successfully complete tasks conducive to safe and efficient mining standards.
Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of small tools.

Working knowledge of mine equipment and materials terminology and uses.
Basic jackleg skills.
