We are looking for a PR Manager to join the PR team for MuleSoft, a Salesforce company, to amplify our brand internationally to both IT and business audiences.

As a PR Manager, you’ll drive inspiring product, industry, and customer stories globally that galvanize our customers, prospects, partners, and the rest of the market around our vision and products. You will be primarily responsible for:
Product and Industry PR: Establish MuleSoft as the #1 platform for API, integration, and now automation through bold product and industry PR
Customer PR: Validating MuleSoft’s value props through relevant customer stories across industries
Cross-PR team collaboration: Working together and aligning on joint storytelling with PR team members working across the Salesforce, Tableau, and Slack portfolio
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced culture and values strategic communications, cross-functional collaboration, and results. This position requires excellent writing, organizational, and coordination skills, and the ability to communicate to and work with executive management, marketing, and other critical organizations.

You will play an integral role in raising MuleSoft’s awareness, reporting to the Director of MuleSoft PR as part of Salesforce Corporate Communications to deliver against MuleSoft’s key strategic objectives!

Responsibilities
Lead, plan, and implement product and industry PR launches, partnering closely with Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Salesforce PR teams, and our US and international PR agencies
Craft compelling stories and drive top-tier media coverage across business, tech, and industry publications that elevate the MuleSoft brand and articulate the value of our technologies
Understand MuleSoft’s brand, product, and industry positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging and help frame technology conversations in press
Lead customer PR to secure customer story features in press
Be hands-on with proactively working with Customer Marketing to pitch PR to customers and manage end-to-end press release approvals and press interview prep with customers
Work with Salesforce, Tableau, and Slack PR partners to deliver holistic stories, including customer stories, that show the full power of Salesforce
Collaborate with our agency partners to build new and/or expand existing thought leadership campaigns to support product/industry messaging and launches
Update and manage our product PR narrative and key messages that serve as a single source of truth for PR stories and content
Ability to provide strategic counsel to and work with executives, including guiding and prepping executive spokespeople on key messages for press interviews
Be a trusted partner internally with the ability to staff press meetings, manage timing and meeting flow, share detailed notes with stakeholders, and own follow up
Maintain global agency activity trackers, monitor for press coverage, as well as deliver communications results reports as needed

About You:
Outstanding project management skills with experience driving deliverables cross-functionally
Strong writer with experience creating a range of content, from press releases to executive briefing materials
Excellence in crafting a compelling story to pitch for tier 1 business, tech, and vertical press placement
Clear verbal communications and trust-based relationships to create compelling messaging and narratives, leveraging data and facts
Can evaluate and exercise sound judgment when faced with difficult situations
Proactive and acts autonomously.
Excellent proofreading and editing
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and write quickly
Willingness to take on projects big and small
Ability to work under pressure and comfortable with change and ambiguity
Ability to balance, prioritize and deliver excellent results under tight deadlines with limited resources
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
The “do-what-it-takes” mindset to lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders and drive execution across multiple workstreams
Preferred Requirements:
5+ years experience in public relations, analyst relations, marketing, or journalism, ideally at an enterprise tech company
