Location: Clark, CO (15 miles from Steamboat Springs)
Start date: early to mid March 2022
Children: 2.5 year old
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8/8:30am-5/5:30pm with some flexibility
The family describes themselves as casual, approachable and friendly and is excited to work alongside a nanny who is well-versed in early childhood development. Their ideal nanny thrives in a team environment and wants to feel like family.
Nanny should love to be outdoors, either skiing, hiking or riding horses! The family lives on a huge ranch with horses, cows, and miles of river and a ski trail!
Family’s 2.5 year old son loves dinosaurs, trucks and tractors!
The ideal candidate has strong experience with the toddler/preschool age group, is warm, loving, and has a deep understanding of children’s milestones. Their perfect nanny is positive, consistent, creative, and hopes to stay for years to come!
Accommodations are a fully furnished 700 square foot 1 bedroom cabin with a queen washer/dryer, gas wood stove, fiber optic internet – nanny is free to furnish the home with their own furniture
Candidate should thrive working alongside the family as well as possess confidence being full charge.
Responsibilities include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, using home as a place to learn and cultivate activities outdoors
Family travels approximately 4-5 times a year (family has other homes, including Palm Springs, CA & Canada)
Family has several small dogs
Benefits include vacation time, paid sick days, full healthcare and dental, and relocation.
Requirements:
5+ years professional nanny experience
Extensive experience with toddlers/preschoolers
Confident swimmer
Adhering to CDC guidelines RE: COVID-19
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Passport ready or willing to be
First Aid + CPR certified or willing to be
Valid driver’s license
Verifiable references
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
