Our products are installed across the North American continent in over 30 states, 10 provinces, in high-visibility locations such as Yonge &Dundas Square and are viewed by millions of people daily.ABOUT THE SCHEDULUER/ DISPACTCHER ROLE: A formal schedule will often be created as an initial step in carrying out a specific project, such as the construction, development of a product, or launch of a program.A dispatcher is a communications worker who receives and transmits information to coordinate operations of other personnel, vehicles and equipment carrying out a service.SCHEDULER/ DISPATCHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling of personal and equipment daily/weekly/monthly for every project on the Microsoft Dynamics compatible ExpandIT systemWorking closely with Project Management team to schedule project to meet customer expectationsWorking with pre-production and shop foreperson to confirm all materials are ready for projectsDispatching of crews and equipmentPrepare required status reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to all internal and external clientsEvaluate all hours spent for various activities and prepare accurate reports for same and maintain record of all project progressCollaborate with all cross functional teams to maintain, add, or modify the schedule entries and the plansSCHEDULER/ DISPATCHER REQUIREMENTS: 7 years experience in the sign and/ or construction industry.Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling and cost control.Proven ability to effectively lead project planning and scheduling staff.Proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability.Knowledge of current MTO rules and regulations to ensure complianceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressDental careExtended health careLife insurancePaid time offRRSP matchVision careSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:sign and/ or construction industry: 5 years (required)ability in planning, scheduling and cost control: 3 years (required)
