Job Description : Summit Medical Consultants is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our Leadership Team. This position will work in conjunction with our current Practice Manager and will report to the Senior Operations Manager.
Summit Medical Consultants is a rapidly growing Physician Practice. Founded in 2015 we have expanded to approximately 75 employees and are continuing to grow. If we were a hospital in Colorado, we would rank 9th by number of admissions per year. Our practice’s mission is to provide patients and their families with robust clinical services throughout their Acute Inpatient Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care and Assisted and Independent Living stays. We coordinate with the Hospitalists and Specialist physicians and surgeons, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies, Case Management and Psychology at the facility level to provide compassionate and coordinated care.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as a member of the leadership team as well as a role model for ethical management behavior and promote awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission and Values of Summit Medical Consultants.
Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day functions of a physician practice with multiple locations and complex structure
This position develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance, while being meticulous with data analytics
Assist with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the presence of Summit Medical Consultants within the community
Evaluate existing systems with a continuous improvement mindset
Develop operations procedures and analyze various systems while evaluating business requirements to create essential programs for the practice
Facility and Provider Relations
Travel to multiple facilities of the practice.
Act as a communication hub between various teams of the Practice. Document all communication wherever and whenever necessary.
Identify key stakeholders throughout the organization’s network and drive excellence in business across multiple key areas
Multi-State and Multi service line expansion
Will be responsible for expanding into other states and other lines of business
Expand services to new lines including a hospitalist group, wound care, and Psychology/Psychiatry
Create ways for the organization to streamline current policies and procedures in an effort standardize them in expectations of rapid growth.
Out of the box thinking with a solutions oriented approach
This position will participate in the Admin On Call rotation

Required Qualifications:

5 years experience working in healthcare administrative setting, preferable with physicians as a member of the leadership team
Proven experience with growing a new line of business in a healthcare setting
Proven methodology in streamlining processes across state line with a cross functional team
Proven track record of working independently, while creating new policies and procedures for continuous process improvement
Results oriented
Travel locally and nationally will be required
Working in a position with daily interaction with physicians

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a medium sized independent business
Experience managing a healthcare organization
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Experience working in a direct patient care role
Knowledge and/or experience in post acute care setting

Salary range $75,000-$95,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
