Job Description : OPERATIONS, SAFETY AND SECURITY OFFICER

Part-time, Year-round
SUMMARY: Under direction, performs operations, safety and security duties, including Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) activities as well as emergency medical response, for the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (YVRA); supports day-to-day airport operations and communications activities; assists with maintaining the operational status of YVRA apparatus and equipment; performs initial firefighting and rescue activities at an aircraft accident or airport emergency response event; communicates with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), airlines, airport tenants and other airport staff regarding safety and security matters; and performs other related duties as assigned.
