Job Description : Sysco Toronto is looking for an energetic Order Picker to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders. An order picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet.Job location: 7055 Kennedy Road, MississaugaRate of pay: $27.61/hour to startShift: Sunday to Thursday, 7pm to 3:30amBenefits: Company-paid benefits available after probation, includes health, dental, STD, LTD, life insurance, pension plan and stock purchase plan.Experience using an electric pallet truck and RF scanners preferredResponsibilities: Pick product with accuracy, speed and safety to build a skidStage skids at doors for loadersClean up at end of shift (boxes, cardboard, paper)Maintain pallet truck – pre and post circle checks; battery chargeEnsure health and safety, food safety, WHMIS procedures and guidelines are adhered toPerform other warehouse functions as assigned by SupervisorQualifications: Able to do heavy lifting up to 33KG (72 lbs) unassistedAbility to work flexible hours – weekend and statutory holiday work is required. Overtime may be requiredCompletion of secondary education or equivalentPrevious warehouse experience with experience driving a pallet truckCapable of working in a fast-paced and demanding environmentStrong team membership skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work and operate in a safe manner in accordance with Health and Safety policies and proceduresSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
