Job Overview

The Outreach Coordinator builds relationships that generate profitable streams of revenue back to Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) programs. The Coordinator develops, coordinates and implements programs that support CHCO goals and objectives. The Coordinator disseminates and communicates programmatic information, promotes benefits and raises the visibility of the program through increasing public awareness and coordinating community outreach activities.

No direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

Coordinates the development of a specific program through outreach, marketing, and building and fostering community and physician relationships.
Develops and designs educational materials for use by health care providers and the community at large.
Coordinates and delivers education programs, including marketing to the community as appropriate.
Assists with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics that result in increased market share for the program.
Drives community relations development through community events, education, involvement, support and positively promoting the program and services in the community.
Identifies funding opportunities and actively participates in applying for these funds.
Keeps abreast of other programs (regionally and nationally) and benchmarks excellence. Tracks community activities and maintains database(s).
Coordinates and implements monthly meetings, conferences, training seminars and annual events.

Qualifications

EDUCATION – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.
EXPERIENCE –Two years of program coordination, community outreach or marketing experience.
EQUIVALENCY – Professional experience, in addition to the required experience, may substitute for the bachelor degree on a year-for-year basis.

Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $65,104.17 to $97,656.25
Hourly Salary Range: $31.30 to $46.95
