Utility Workers / Finish Line GreetersKey Responsibilities:
Check on the hydration station and refill water or Skratch when needed.
4 Skratch bags per 10 gallon cooler / mix well / include ice if available.
Check on trash/recycling, venue receptacles should be emptied throughout the day. Notify Scotty if any trash cans are overflowing.
Check in periodically with expo booths to see if they need anything.
Finish Line Greeters to ring cowbells and cheer on the riders as they ride under the truss.
If working the finish line, please wear a safety vest
Food Area / Lunch LineKey Responsibilities:
Collect lunch tickets as riders walk through the lunch line.
If the participant did purchased a lunch ticket during registration, a tear tag is found on the rider bib is labeled “LUNCH”
If the participant didn’t purchase a lunch ticket during registration, the tear tag found on the rider bib is labeled “event lunch is available for an additional charge”
Participants can purchase lunch tickets at the info tent for $12-$15.
Lunch tickets are available both Saturday and Sunday.
If someone paid for an extra lunch with their registration, find their name on the extra lunch list or have an extra ticket
Information TentKey Responsibilities:
Serve as hospitality and answer questions of guests and riders.
Collect all handheld and mobile radios at the end of the day.
Reference FAQ for frequently asked questions.
Familiarize yourself with the venue layout, signs and event schedule.
Collect all Ride Medic helmet covers and arm bands.
Banner Set-UpKey Responsibilities:
Set up banners and truss dressings
Set up flags from all the states – need to spread out throughout the finish
Make sure zip ties are not sticking out, cut tails if necessary.
Make sure banners are pulled taut.
Venue Sign Set-UpKey Responsibilities:
Set up venue signage – Lunch, Restrooms, Registration, Event Schedule, Merchandise, Beer Garden, Parking, Massage, etc. throughout Two Rivers Plaza
Equipment – staples, a-frames, zip ties, arrows, tape, signs.
Expo Set-UpKey Responsibilities:
Become very familiar with expo site-map in order to answer exhibitor and sponsor placement questions
Setting up tables/chairs for vendors
Only set up Friday tables and chairs
Tape down exhibitor table labels to tables
Setting up hose connected to main building – check with Liz for exact location
Set up hydration station
Help unload exhibitors and sponsors
Assist exhibitors break down boxes and trash, take to recycling and trash (@ Plaza)
Check on exhibitors and sponsors
Equipment – staples, a-frames, zip ties, arrows, tape, signs.
Colorado Jobs: Employees can expect to be paid a non-exempt hourly pay rate between $21.00 to $22.00 per hour.
