Job Description : Major polyethylene packaging manufacturer is looking for an experienced sales rep, who will be responsible for taking care of a base of customers as well as bringing in new clients. The person we seek has to have good understanding of plastic industry, have a solid track record of success. We favour someone with industry experience but will look at related experience.Job responsibilities will include: visiting existing base of customers to understand their needs, building and maintaining relationships, developing a territory plan, prospect and cold calling customers outside of your base, providing quotes and getting involved with customer issues, using internal resources to solve the issues, developing and using both external and internal issues to close business, providing regular updates to the management.On the job training provided.Contacts within plastics industry is a big assetStrong territory development experience required.Open-minded individual, open to learning and being coached.For GTA – from Young St. on the west to Oshawa on the east, from Lakeshore all the way north to Uxbridge.Salary + commissions + benefitsTel. 416-661-3000Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per yearWork RemotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $28,840.00-$125,367.00 per yearAdditional pay:Commission payBenefits:Extended health careSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsExperience:sales: 1 year (preferred)
