Job Description : To apply icing on the pastries ,pack products for delivery .To ensure the packing of finished products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards and that facilities and processes conform to GMP standards.Overnight – Must be able to work weekendsAvailability to start immediatelyOnly qualified candidates will be contactedKey responsibilities and account abilitiesFollow company health and safety policies and processesQuality, variety, safety, and food safety are consistently maintained at all the timeMaintain food quality and hygieneEnsure that all final products are properly placed in the areas for deliveryRecord all products to be delivered on inventory recordPacking and tray placement of finished product as per production and delivery schedule.Ensure that trays and carts are complete as per location requirements.Operate any equipment safely with knowledge of emergency shut off, as applicableFollow GMP policy at all times.Maintain clean work environment at all the timeHas availability weekdays, weekends and holidays (early morning deliveries)Is able to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Is able to lift at least 20lbsAssist bakers and help on the lineAssist with post production cleaningSkills and ExperienceMust be able to apply a thin layer of icing to fresh made pastriesEnergetic with a positive work ethicAble to multi-task3 years packaging experience3 years food handlingReliable and able to work independently with confidenceAble to work as a team under the department ManagerMust be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skillsAble to read instructions and follow directions in EnglishAble to pay attention to detailFirst Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarityFood handling certificationCOMPETENCIESAccountabilityTeam playerAttention to detailPatienceCoordinationMulti-taskingDexterity (in operating equipment)AccuracyCommunicationsDependability and reliabilityProfessionalismIntegrityAdaptability and flexibilityJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00 per hourSchedule:Night shift
