Job Description : We are looking for new as well as experienced painters to paint the interior and exterior of buildings and other surfaces. Primarily residential, but sometimes new construction and/or commercial. Ability to work well with others and communicate with customers is a must. Must also have reliable transportation and be comfortable on ladders/lifts.We offer a laid back work environment, but we work hard. We have a profit sharing program, so the more work we successfully complete, the more we all make. However, we expect the work to be completed to our high standards and callbacks to fix sloppy work impact everyone’s portion of the profit. We have flexible schedules and believe in working hard, but also balancing a real life. We don’t live in the Flathead to just look at the mountains, we aim to enjoy them.We aim for 40-hour weeks, but there is periodically the opportunity (not the expectation) for overtime. Sometimes with weather, we don’t always hit 40hrs, but there’s plenty to do. If you want to work, we will keep you busy.Our team is tight-knit and we look out for each other. We can help train the right person.ResponsibilitiesMake on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, masking, covering fixtures etc.Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (wood filled/caulk/etc)Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools including brushes, rollers, airless sprayer systemsApply stain and other finishesTake responsibility for the safety of oneself and everyone else on the jobsiteSkillsProven experience as a painter a big plusAptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, airless sprayer systems, etc.)Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.Conscientious with great attention to detail and pride in your workAbility to arrive on time and accept responsibility for oneself.CompensationNew: $18-$22/hrExperienced: $25-35+/hrJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payWork Location: Multiple Locations
