Job Description : Summary: Jefferson Lines is looking for a team-focused individual with a customer-first mindset to join our company as a Ticket Agent at our Missoula, MT bus depot. At Jefferson Lines, we are passionate about the customer experience. From booking tickets in our mobile app all the way to boarding and bus travel, our goal is to provide our passengers with their #1 Bus Experience. As a ticket agent you will helping prepare passengers for their journey with a “We Care” mentality, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident while traveling with Jefferson Lines.Shift Details: 7PM – 10:30PMEssential Duties: Bring a “We Care” mentality that supports positive, empathetic, and professional care toward customers at all timesAssist passengers with travel needs regarding scheduling, ticket information/purchase, luggage requirements, rural transit options, and more in-person or by phone in a professional, friendly mannerProactively and professionally problem solve customer satisfaction concerns or service issues that may ariseAssist passengers and drivers with luggage or Package Express needs (including weighting, loading, or unloading, etc.) when necessarySupport company needs during seasonal or unexpected impacts to travelWork on additional customer service initiatives as determined by the Depot ManagerSkills: Pleasant and courteous customer service skills in all situationsMust possess strong written, verbal, and computer skillsCommunicate effectively and professionally in escalated situationsAbility to quickly discern and problem solve while applying policy and procedure consistently and accuratelyAbility to accurately count and handle cash or swipe credit card transactionsFast learner with a strong work ethic and positive team-oriented attitudeAbility to work assigned tasks with limited supervisionGeneral knowledge of geographyEducation and/or experience: High School Degree or Equivalent1-2 years experience in customer serviceMust have valid driver’s licenseJefferson has been serving our passengers with their #1 Bus Experience since 1919.
