Job Description:
DaVita is currently looking for a Patient Resources Representative for our Revenue and Operations Department. This position is responsible for guiding, researching and resolving inbound phone calls, fax, and email inquiries regarding patient accounts. The ideal candidate for this position has a high level of multitasking abilities, is highly ambitious, results-driven, and also ready and willing to “think outside the box.” Individuals who excel in this role will go above and beyond to provide the highest level of customer service possible.
We are actively seeking a candidate in Irvine, CA, Federal Way, WA, or Denver, CO.
Salary Wage Range: $18-$27/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
Answer phones and guide patients through understanding their accounts and answering their questions and concerns
Utilize superior problem solving and analytical skills to identify discrepancies in our revenue cycle transaction
Manage call escalations while being compliant with company policy
Strong organizational skills and effective multitasking
Excellent communication skills essential. Coordinate with Social Workers and Insurance Counselors to support our patients billing inquiries
Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in customer service and billing (+2-5 years)
Health care and medical billing/collections or reimbursement experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
