Position : Payroll Director – Personal Care

Job Description : Modivcare is looking for an experienced Payroll Director. In this role, you will
direct the national strategy and operations of our Payroll Department for Modivcare Home. This position will supervise the Payroll Supervisors and Administrators who complete weekly and bi-weekly processing of payroll for 8500+ employees. The Payroll Director reports to the Modivcare CFO, while maintaining a close working relationship with the Human Resources department and the Operational Leader of Modivcare Home.
You will…

Develop and coordinate the consolidation of resources, create efficiencies, and implement strategy for payroll national across Modivcare Home.
Lead the Workday implementation for payroll activities across the business unit and align resources accordingly.
Align policies and procedures to ensure all is standardized across Modivcare Home.
Lead the payroll team to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing.
Maintain payroll information in ADP Vantage, ADP Vantage Time and ADP GL.
Maintain accruals, attendance and leave applications in ADP Vantage.
Manage types of wage garnishments.
Partner with Human Resources on employee benefits.
Maintains all payroll records, reports, computations and audits and provide internal reporting to management and accounting.
Prepare applications for new location state withholding, unemployment, and local taxes. Review and approve tax calculations for stock options and ensure they are updated in the payroll system.
Develop and own policies, procedures, and SOX compliant internal controls over the payroll cycle.
Ensure compliance to company standards, labor agreements, tax regulations and completion of quarterly multi-state and federal tax filings, annual reporting and W2s.
Lead in team projects as the payroll expert.
Design and test for new procedures, policies and systems.
Help facilitate our transition to a new ERP (financial, HR and payroll system).

We are excited to speak to someone with the following…

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
CPP-Certified Payroll Professional.
10+ years of experience of full cycle payroll management in a high volume environment.
Working knowledge of payroll tax laws and experience with 401K, 409A and stock-based compensation.
Experience with ADP Vantage or similar payroll system.
Experience working for a public company with SOX compliant internal control oversight.
Microsoft Office application skills, with advanced Excel expertise (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros).

Salary: $151,213 – 226,711/annually

Bonus eligible based upon individual and company performance.
