Payroll Operations Specialist
Denver, CO (Hybrid- Local candidates only)
$25-35hr (Based on experience)
Full-time (M-F)

The Role As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing domestic payroll and related taxes, benefits, and other compensation. You’ll play an important role in enabling the team to transform the payroll function in the near term. This role is a great opportunity to be involved in and observe significant implementations and process optimizations of a global payroll function. Our ideal candidate has good attention to detail and be able to communicate well with other team members. Core Responsibilities

Process multi-state domestic payroll
Maintain accurate payroll records
Identify and drive projects to improve payroll workflows and processes
Assist with internal employee service standards related to questions about payroll
Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies
Help ensure accurate employee taxation
Respond to tax notices and assist team in building robust compliance environment

What We Value

At least 5 years experience processing multi-state US payroll; experience in partnering or processing international payroll is a plus
Experience processing complex, high volume equity transactions (NSO, RSU, ISO, ESPP)
Experience with Workday, ADP WorkforceNow and Safeguard
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; accuracy in work products and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Working knowledge of general ledger accounting a plus
