Position : Payroll Specialist
Job Description : Hybrid schedule but MUST be local to the Denver area. We are looking to hire a Payroll Specialist / Payroll Analyst. This individual will be processing a weekly payroll for about 2,000 employees in multiple states. This position is fully Remote This is a great opportunity in a fast paced and growing company in a gratifying industry.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist / Payroll Analyst:
Prepare weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees
Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure accuracy of employee time cards
Act as primary liaison between the Corporate Human Resources and Accounting departments to ensure that employee information is accurate in the payroll system
Prepare off cycle manual checks for terminations both voluntary and involuntary per HR
Review payroll taxes on an individual, state, and company-wide level for accuracy and correctness
Pursue resolution on payroll tax issues
Support payroll audits for workers compensation
Prepare and submit annual W-2 forms
Requirements of the Payroll Specialist / Payroll Analyst:
2 years minimum of payroll experience
Workday, ADP or similar software is a plus, but not required
Good understanding of multi state payroll processing, must comply with OSHA established safety policies and requirements
Compensation/Benefits:

$65,000 – $75,000/year depending on experience and certifications
