Position : PCA Personal Care Assistant
Job Description : Leading Edge Senior Care is hiring immediately for professional, dependable Caregiver (Personal Care Assistants) or CNA to work with our client in Glendale.
Hours & Days:
Monday & Friday from 9:30 am till 10 pm.
$18.00/hour plus overtime
Job duties will include: transferring with Hoyer, meal preparation, and laundry. Experience with a rail system Hoyer lift. Experience with a cough assist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.
2. Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
3. Ability to carry out directions, read and write English.
4. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
5. Must have at least 2-years prior experience working with the elderly.
6. Ability to participate in physical activity.
7. Ability to lift 30lbs/to do extensive bending and standing on a regular basis.
8. Valid Arizona Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. Clean 3 year driving history, no at fault accidents, and no more than 1 moving violation.
9. High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
10. CPR/First Aid Certified
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
