We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our growing Operations team! We’re looking for a builder, someone who enjoys working through employee feedback and bringing it to life through internal programs and initiatives. This role will be partnering with different departments throughout Normative, so we’re looking for someone who brings a high level of customer service, enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity. We are experiencing rapid growth, so you should be comfortable in a deeply dynamic environment. This role will partner closely with Normative’s People & Operations Manager and the greater Operations team.
What you’ll be doing day to day:

Supporting in talent pipelines, including launching our open positions, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and getting our postings out into varied communities to get more eyes on them and cover a diverse audience.
Managing and elevating Normative’s team member onboarding program, with a focus on developing a unique team member experience.
Planning and executing company-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Implementing an employee recognition program.
Supporting in Normative’s semi-annual engagement surveys to determine where the People Team can best support the business and its employees.
Assisting in Normative’s semi-annual performance reviews.
Managing and elevating Normative’s internal employee celebration and recognition initiatives.
Supporting with reporting and auditing on our people and resourcing programming data, such as onboarding, candidate experience and recruitment, team member retention and turnover, project staffing, and engagement.
Be the first point of contact for employee questions and employment verification requests. Escalate issues to other members of the People Operations team, if appropriate.
Processing team member role changes including document generation, notifications, and HR system updates (we use BambooHR).
Supporting Finance with payroll and expense management.

What we’re looking for:

1 year of experience in recruitment and HR work in a tech or product company. Bonus if you also have a data background.
An analytical mindset. Data and process are your friends, and you are comfortable navigating Google Sheets and Excel documents, and you are able to work with and report on data.
Fast-paced environments don’t phase you, you can context switch at the drop of a hat.
Experience in supporting the roll out of HR projects in a tech company.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, you understand the importance of it and seek to educate yourself consistently and use inclusive language.
Discretion – you know how to maintain confidentiality but also recognize what needs to be escalated.
Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written. You can also have difficult and delicate conversations.
Customer-centric, where you build everything with the user (in this case, our team members) at the program’s core.
