Position : PERSONNEL SYSTEMS ANALYST (SECURITY)

Job Description : Duties

Plans, organizes, conducts program analysis, and tests the functionality of FPPS security and interfaces with related systems operated by the IBC and its client organizations.
Responsible for monthly and quarterly access reviews which require documentation from each supervisor to verify the employee’s current access. Also maintains documentation for audit reviews.
Responsible for documenting and controlling security within FPPS for the Human Resources Line of Business (HRLOB), DataMart, New Client Migration, PPSD, CSC, OCIO and HRD.
Plans and accomplishes system development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
Coordinates findings and recommendations with other functional and system specialists to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness of the system.

Qualifications

At the GS-
12
level, you must meet the following qualification:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to: working with system security and having an extensive understanding of system security, extensive experience in interpreting personnel regulations and requirements with an automated personnel and payroll system, and any related changes to an automated personnel and payroll system.

Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
