Job Description : We are looking for a pet care professional to add to our ever-growing team who is interested in growing with our company, earning supplemental income.

We would like to find someone able to take care of our clients’ pets and treat them like their own. Some of our current team members include: Dog trainers, pet sitters & experienced dog walkers, college & graduate students, stay at home moms, event planners, photographers, veterinarian technicians, retirees, day traders, teachers, small business owners, and non-profit employees.*Working Hours*We walk dogs and provide pet care visits during the following hours:

Morning (7:00 am – 9:00 am)
Afternoon (10:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Evening (5:00 pm – 8:00 pm)

*This job may be for you: *

Are you available mornings between 7-9am and evenings between 5-8pm?
Do you enjoy caring for all types of dogs and other pets too?
Are you brave enough to face the many season changes in Eagle County to give dogs an awesome walk that will brighten their day?!
You don’t mind traveling throughout the town
If you’re not afraid to complete multiple walks in rain & snow.
If you can pick up dog poops & scoop cat litter.
Get some exercise and be paid for it.
If you’re sick of the “typical job” and want to work in the beautiful outdoors
Are you okay with filling up your phone with selfies of cute pets?
Pet sitting includes play time, meals, walks, medication, bringing in mail, watering plants
During these hours, you will be asked to travel to client’s homes while they are out of town on vacation for pet sitting visits
Provide quick visit updates to the pet parents, taking pictures and videos of the pets during pet visits, communicating visit updates with Golden Tails Dog Walking, and any type of emergency scenario to the Golden Tails Dog Walking Management : -)

*We are looking for the following: *

Over 21+ years of age
US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
Able to pass a background check
Local full-time resident of Eagle County
Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends as needed
Have a smart phone with enough data to handle a large number of pictures
Be able to communicate in English, orally and written
Understand you will place mileage on your car
Physical ability to walk dogs for 30-40 minutes at a time, climb stairs, use elevators, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work outside in both high and low temperatures (summer, rain and snow)
Consider yourself detail oriented (for pets that require medication, customized feeding & special needs)
Be able to adhere to our smoke and drug-free work environment commitment
Be available for our morning and evening time blocks
Take over instagram stories from time to time to share about your day as a pet sitter
Licenses or previous pet sitting experience is a plus
Sales abilities are a PLUS!

How Much Can I Make?Our part-time pet care professionals can start making between 500-800$ a month while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs!
