Job Description : Pharmacy Operations Specialist
Evening Shift
Monday- Friday with occasional rotation through weekend when necessary.
Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred, but not required upon hiring. We offer Pharmacy Technician Training and help you prepare for the Pharmacy Technician Certification. If you are not currently certified, the starting rate is $26/hour. If you are a pharmacy certified technician, the starting rate is $27/hr.
Grane Rx is seeking a highly motivated, professional to fill our opening for an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor is part of the Production and Fulfillment Team at Grane Rx; with core functionalities focusing on production workflow and delivery launches. This position will be responsible for on time delivery launches, communication with deliver courier, resource management at each workstation, and productivity metrics. In addition, this position will communicate with Operations management team and assist with standard work and process improvements.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Operations Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager. This position will work directly with Grane Rx Fulfillment Technicians, Tech II’s, Customer Care Team, Pharmacists, and Inventory Coordinators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate all activities associated with packaging, dispensing and staging
Meet delivery deadlines through effective delivery coordination
Collaborates with inventory management to ensure that an adequate supply of medications are available to meet customer needs
Ensure processes and systems are managed to meet our service level commitments
Ensure efficient “throughput“ of work within the filling, final quality checking, and shipping areas
Facilitate communication for problem resolution and changes occurring in the organization that may impact the work flow of the Pharmacy and Fulfillment areas
Communicates with delivery courier partner
Ensures standard processes are being followed
Summarizes communication needs, provides accurate information
Monitors weather, initiates weather protocol and contingency plans
Updates, reviews, and tracks quality check points
Work with management on productivity improvement, increased capacity, improved quality, enhanced service, and best practices

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year(s) pharmacy operations experience preferred
Technology background and the use of automation equipment beneficial
Must have basic understanding of medical terminology, math and analytical skills
Working knowledge of commercial automation/dispensing modalities and/or manufacturing processes/production operations
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Excellent proven interpersonal skills with the ability to teach and motivate others
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Meet or Exceed in Quality and Productivity measures
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
