Position : Pharmacy Technician *1200 SIGN ON BONUS/ REMOTE POSITIONS*

Job Description : Spectrum Pharmacy is a local and independently owned long term care pharmacy. Since 2005, we have served the needs of long term care facilities, including skilled nursing, independent and assisted living, foster care, and group homes. We are currently seeking a pharmacy technician for our organization.
Order Entry Technician Job Responsibilities:

Answer phones and deliver great customer service
Enter, Bill, and Process New Medication orders (including IV compound orders)
Process refills
Contact Patients’ Caregivers to resolve insurance issues, obtain high-cost authorization, notify of any delays in medication delivery
Submit Prior Authorizations as needed
Communicate orders’ required delivery timeframe to pharmacy team

Order Fulfillment Technician Job Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently filling medication prescriptions (including IV and compounded medications as necessary)
Aide in inventory management through checking for expires, completing cycle counts and returns as needed
Processing orders returned from the pharmacy’s clients for destruction or restocking
Accepting medication delivery orders and putting away drugs in proper places
Keeping pharmacy clean and orderly
Participate in ongoing trainings to maintain certifications necessary to perform job functions (ie, CE trainings, HIPAA, FWA, IV certification, etc…)

Desired Qualifications:

1+ years of pharmacy customer service and order entry experience in a Retail or LTC setting (preferred, not required)
Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills
Must possess valid AZ state certification
Comfortable working in fast-paced environment’
