Job Description : Nu-Era Logistics Inc. is a vibrant and growing Full Service Logistics company offering a range of local, national and global transportation services. We are very excited to be expanding once again!We are looking to hire an Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to focus on organic growth within our Mississauga, Cambridge and Syracuse offices.The ideal candidate will not only have 3 years of inside sales experience within a international freight forwarding and over the road environment, but also be outgoing, enthusiastic and able to gain new business opportunities through cold calling, video calls and email communication.Job responsibilities include:Strong understanding of the Global Freight Market, as well as US Domestic and Cross Border. Monitoring industry news and data to proactively respond to developments which can affect our ability to move customer goods.Build and maintain solid relationships with Current Customers as well as New Customers.Regular and proactive telephone and electronic communication with customers to follow-up on new services, lanes, etc.Adhere to all provincial, federal and local regulations.Assist in reviewing and submitting pricing for customer Request For Quotations and bids.Provide reports to internal and external customers as required.Work with local and company management to effectively and immediately resolve any issues.Follow all company policies and procedures.Provide suggested changes and input to current policies and procedures that would result in improved customer service and performance.Other duties as assigned.Reporting to the Director of Sales & Route Development, this self-driven and motivated individual will be joining a large and successful business development team and will work with field representatives to meet company objectives.The Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative will need to have a good working knowledge of MS Office and comfort with different software programs that will allow them to adapt with the company systems.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDental careRRSP matchSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Education:Secondary School (preferred)Experience:customer service: 3 years (preferred)
