This person will work closely with the Product Team and Development teams.
Job Summary
The Product Owner role at ICD Tech is perfect for a detail-oriented, technical person who is responsible for managing the product backlog and decomposing/defining objectives for ICD Tech agile development teams. The Product Owner must be a highly-creative, hands-on producer of original content and a patient, responsible collaborator. The Product Owner must be able to start with minimal and sometimes incomplete information regarding complex subject matter, and provide decisive, unambiguous guidance for technical implementation. The Product Owner will report to the Director of Product.
Job duties:

Product ownership for multiple agile development teams
Ongoing active engagement with business stakeholders
Translation between business and technical requirements
Product roadmap planning and maintenance
Product backlog management and prioritization
Market research and competitive analysis
Dependency mapping and coordination with internal/external partners
Clear, concise elaboration of use cases and acceptance criteria
Development iteration preparation and scoping
Proactive coordination across development teams
Negotiation and consultation with development resources
Change management administration and compliance
Release planning and stakeholder expectation management
Minimum viable product identification and focusing
Research and understand complex functionality
Collect, analyze, and interpret data
Reconcile data conflicts

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years quality assurance/business analyst experience
Minimum 2 years product management/product ownership experience
Strong background with financial services and/or accounting/tax domains
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment; 2-week iterations
Willing to make firm commitments and be accountable
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Insatiable curiosity and keen attention to detail
Proficiency with modern technologies and office applications
Experience with financial services a strong plus
