Job Purpose
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our development team. The successful candidate will have experience working on Agile Scrum teams that deliver high quality software and possess a strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle for SaaS/PaaS products. Successful candidates will also have a desire to work with product stakeholders, subject matter experts, developers, and QA testers to deliver industry changing products.

DTC, 5655 South Yosemite Street, Suite 202, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 (remote possibility)
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary from $80,000- $100,000 annually and an independent work environment with collaborative management who care.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a product owner or product manager of enterprise grade SaaS and/or PaaS products
Minimum 3 years of product owning on Agile Scrum team(s)
Minimum 2 years of ownership of one (or multiple) backlog(s)
Strong understanding of technology and ability to discuss software architecture concepts
Strong understanding of the Scrum framework

Preferred

CSPO (or equivalent) certification
Passion for the Internet and web-based applications
Ability to advocate for and apply Scrum principles to areas of the business outside of software development

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. While we are based out of the Denver Tech Center in Colorado, we are currently open to accepting telecommute/remote-only candidates as well.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create product roadmaps that align product enhancements with overall objectives and deadlines
Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve blocking issues
Create user stories that turn requirements into unambiguous acceptance criteria for the developers and QA testers
Manage the product backlog to ensure efficient release of product enhancements
Lead Agile Sprint planning and manage day-to-day development activities
Participate in all necessary Scrum events
Foster a “one-team” mindset and ensure alignment of cross-team initiatives.
