Job Description : Job Summary
Capstone Precision Group is seeking a full-time Product Packer – Jackets to be based in our Mesa, AZ office. This is a 3-4 month temp to hire through Capstone’s temp agency.
This is a 4-10 afternoon shift (2nd) shift which will typically run from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am Monday through Thursday, that may periodically require work on Friday’s. A 10% shift differential is included for the hours worked on 2nd shift. Will train on 1st shift for the first two to four weeks.
THE ROLE
The Product Packer will be responsible for processing shipments correctly and efficiently.

The Capstone Precision Group was formed in 2017, with the acquisition of Berger Bullets. They represent Berger, Lapua, Vihtavuori and SK in the United States. These brands are widely recognized as the premium offering in rifle ammunition and reloading components.
Although Capstone itself is new, the brands involved have a long and respected history within the firearms industry. Berger was created by Walt Berger in 1955, and is located in Mesa, Arizona.
Capstone Precision Group manufactures, J4 Jackets, Berger Bullets and Berger Ammunition. All brands are all a part of the Nammo Group, which employs thousands of employees around the world. Capstone Precision Group has two main facilities – Berger production in Mesa, Arizona and the Capstone Distribution Center just outside Sedalia, Missouri.
The Nammo Campus is just over 500 acres with multiply buildings and storage facilities. The campus is occupied by Nammo Mesa and Capstone Precision Group, both Nammo owned companies.
Primary Responsibilities

Be familiar with products and the many variations to ensure accurate processing.
Ensure that our product is in good condition by visually monitoring what is processed.
Report any damaged items to supervisor.
Transport packed items from storage areas to the packing area.
Ensure that items are packed in a safe manner by using packing materials.
Make sure that packed cartons are sealed and labeled appropriately.
Ensure that all accompanying documentation is present with packed items.
Operate forklift if certified in order to transport packed items on pallets.
Monitor and report on supplies needed for packaging all products.
Report any machine or process related issues to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Assist shipping personnel as needed to ship orders.
Sort, relabel and correct any product that is determined to be incorrectly processed.
Keep work and inventory areas clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
Learn and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to be at work on time on a regular consistent basis.
