Headquartered at the base of the Mission Mountains in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana.Product Support SpecialistPosition SummaryI. Job Description: A Merlo Brand Telehandler Product Support Specialist will master all technical aspects of the Merlo line of telescopic forklifts in regards to service, components, operation, transport and repair of all Merlo models.No COVID vaccine required.II. Tasks 1. Communicate directly with customers regarding technical troubleshooting & product capabilities. 2. Schedule service calls and shop work for rental fleet and sold units. 3. Assess technical issues, utilize diagnostic equipment, communicate with factory service specialists, order parts, repair, and calibrate specific machine functions. 4. Provide excellent customer service including initial contacts, product knowledge and follow-up. 5. Assist in determining logistical movement of machine transport and in-field service procedures. 6. Complete work orders, warranty claims, and parts orders. 7. Assist in determining future needs of service department as business grows. 8. Training of additional service personnel.III. Skills 1. Communication – Able to professionally communicate with customers and all team members within organization. 2. Technical Knowledge – Have understanding of manuals, diagnostic equipment, ability to interpret electrical & hydraulic diagrams and schematics, powertrains and general mechanical aptitude. 3. Organization – Have ability to efficiently utilize shop tools & equipment, clean work areas, assist in keeping service supplies ordered and inventoried and optimizing work schedules and job completions. 4. Quality Control – Able to complete tasks with minimum re-work and maximum customer satisfaction, always checking that nothing is missed. 5. Vision – Having a sense of what lies ahead and the ability to share in a cooperative effort with others within the organization methods and improvements to implement for the future success of the business.IV. Experience: 1. Hands-on mechanical experience of a minimum of 3 years. 2. Exposure and operational ability with large or heavy equipment in either agriculture, construction or industrial arena(s). 3. Experience communicating with customers, co-workers and managerial team. 4. A technical degree helpful but not necessary. 5.
