Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver large, complex projects/programs: manage all aspects of a project life cycle and oversee it to completion, from initiation – work with business partners, build business cases, conduct risk assessments, bring clarity in the initiative and development phases of a project, build project plans and RACIs, build objectives and success metrics, manage project risks and interdependencies, manage budgets and resources, build and manage timelines, track progress.
Partner with key stakeholders across and at all levels of the organization, including Project/Program Sponsor, Lead and cross-functional Working team members to plan and ensure overall alignment to scope, timelines, resources, budget, communication / mitigation of risks, as required.
Be a trusted partner and primary contact / source of information for all cross-functional partners in terms of how all of the different workstreams intersect. Coordinate efforts between different projects/stakeholders; ensure alignment across partners in terms of strategy, implementation and clear delegation of responsibilities.
Understand and manage the end-to-end process: with key stakeholders, review (as is) business process; identify new (to-be) business processes; document gap analysis; develop change management impact assessment and plan; manage change management plan to support business process changes and solution design; track metrics against expected benefits; identify gaps not addressed and opportunities for further improvement
Ensure learning is shared: foster a learning culture by tracking and reporting progress against all projects, providing updates to working teams and executive teams as required; ensure learnings are captured and transferred between appropriate projects
Develop materials to support communication and collaboration: create engaging presentation materials, support cross-functional partners in preparing materials for meetings
Support the development of our EPMO tools: support the development, communication, implementation and maintenance of program/project management best practices across our business
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
10 years+ work experience, with proven track record in Project Management, ideally at another apparel company or retailer
Proven ability to manage large projects covering multiple departments/stakeholders including senior management
An undergraduate degree in a discipline that teaches quantitative analysis, critical thinking, effective communication, and people leadership (e.g., Business). MBA considered an asset.
Formal people leadership / management experience considered an asset
Must be fluent in English
