You will work with the program team in Hamilton to determine client suitability and eligibility for the program. You will monitor and track participant progress and take an active role in ensuring the success of the overall program.THE DELIVERABLESSuccess in this position will be achieved through leading the program team in providing exceptional client/customer service, as well detailed management of the overall program metrics. Deliverables include but are not limited to:Proactively monitoring program performance to ensure all established metrics are met.Continually evaluating the effectiveness of the program delivery and making recommendations for program improvement.Representing Goodwill in discussions with other service providers and funders.Working collaboratively with fellow Employment Service Managers and other team members to facilitate program referrals and create awareness.Developing and executing strategies, to ensure the program is effectively marketed to the community resulting in referrals made.Developing and maintaining weekly reporting for the VP Employment Services detailing up-to-date program status and performance metrics.Acting as a coach and mentor to all direct reports, providing guidance, training, and timely performance management as required.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEAs an ideal candidate you recognize the importance of employment in a person’s life. You have a passion for helping and supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment and to obtain meaningful work.Your passion is backed up by:Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Services, Business Administration or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of related experience in employment or social services, with at least one-years’ experience managing a small to medium size team.Sound knowledge of Employment programs and skills training.Strong facilitation skills, both in group setting and one-on-one.Positive people management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Valid Driver’s license and full-time access to a vehicle.Sound working knowledge of various software including Microsoft Office and Outlook.THE DETAILSThis is a salaried position with a benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision care, life insurance, and RRSP matching.As a full-time position the work week consists of 5 days per week with 37.5 to 40 hours.The candidate must have the flexibility to work days with some evenings and weekends.As the role includes periodic employer site visits a valid driver’s license and full-time access to a vehicle properly insured for occasional business use is required.Goodwill has been made aware that employers and other community organizations we engage with, may have COVID-19 Vaccine mandates for attendance at their locations.
