Job Description : Zehr Levesque, the construction division of Zehr Group, is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team. In your capacity as Project Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with the day- to-day project management of construction projects as assigned. These duties will include, but are not limited to the following:Assisting and coordinating with construction site superintendents and subcontractorsTracking and maintaining of official construction documents.Issuing, managing and tracking all change orders.Issuing and tracking all sub-contractsManaging, preparing and follow up of close out documents.Management and tracking of shop drawings from all project suppliers.Ensuring project documentation is current, organized and flows throughout the project team efficiently.Attending Construction/Project Management Meetings, taking Minutes of the Meeting and distributing to participants.Assisting with the management of project communication and information flow between all stakeholders.Providing administrative support in the preparation of project budgets and estimates for new projects.Providing administration support in the preparation of progressive billings and accounting reconciliations for various construction projects.Monthly reporting of work/progress and tracking updates from the previous month.Providing support as required to various other departments, including Property Management and Accounting.General administrative work.Any other reasonable tasks required to meet the requirements of this position in a professional and complete manner.The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including: Outlook, Project, Excel, and Word. It is not mandatory, but a general understanding of Procore construction software would be beneficial.Compensation will be based on experience, education and performance.Expenses will be paid on a monthly basis for car mileage in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations. Other related work expenses to be approved.The regular ZL office hours are from 7:30am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Compensation is based on a 44-hour work week.The successful candidate will be entitled to participate in any and all of the Company’s group insurance plans and any other benefit programs (the “Employee Benefits”) which may be in effect for all employees of the Company during employment.Company Description The Zehr Group is one of the fastest growing real estate development and construction companies in South-Western Ontario. It currently has various condominium developments underway in the down-town Kitchener core. Zehr Group has completed over 300 construction projects including new commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, in addition to historical renovations.
