Job Description : Altona Renovation Ltd has been providing high-end construction and renovation services throughout the Greater Toronto area since 2002. Working in both multi-residential and commercial environments, Altona specializes in suite turnovers including kitchen and bathroom retrofits, common area renovations such as corridors and lobbies, office spaces, additions, and demolition.We are currently looking for self-motivated and outgoing individuals who are looking for a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Project ManagerResponsibilities and Expectations: Maintaining timelinesEnsuring all work is completed with good workmanshipBe point of contact for customer and tradesResponding to customer’s emails and phone callsVisiting the job sites dailyInspecting ongoing and upcoming sitesDelivering material as and when requiredCoordinating trades and hold them accountable for their workSupervising staff and assisting with scheduling contractorsAssisting with selection of contractorsConducting performance evaluationsReporting and escalating issues to management as requiredOther duties as assignedRequirements: Valid Ontario driver’s licenseSound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)/ Proficiency with technologyMinimum 2-5 years’ experience within project management (multi residential would be considered an asset)Project Management qualification considered as an assetAbility to effectively communicate with and direct the daily activities of skilled workers, suppliers, subcontractorsCompetence in reporting – project progress, citing potential concerns, providing solutions to issuesApplication of all relevant health and safety regulations and policies, ensure compliance through reporting and administrationReliable vehicle that is always available for workProven leadership skills to mentor and train staffStrong renovation background with specific knowledge in painting, flooring, plumbing, carpentry and electricalProficient PC skills using Microsoft Word and ExcelExceptional organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communicationAbility to work well under pressureJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:project management: 1 year (preferred)Renovation: 1 year (preferred)Application deadline: 2022-03-18
